One month blogging anniversary

I've been blogging for one whole month now. I've been having such a good time at it, I want to keep going!

In an effort to have more readers than I can count on my fingers (please know I appreciate each and every one of you!) and have to resort to my toes, I'm joining a blog party.

Amanda at Serenity Now (click here for more details on Serenity Now's blog party) is inviting bloggers to come together (virtually), have a look at each other's blogs, share information on our blogging life, and give comments.

I started blogging after reading "Petite Anglaise", a story of an Englishwoman's move to Paris, where she starts a blog.

My plan for this blog is that it be a light-hearted look at life on a small farm, from a non-farmer turned farm wife point of view.

Occasionally, a pinch of useful information will be thrown in for seasoning. I'd like it to be a respite from my reader's busy life; to see green things growing and have a chuckle or two.

My favourite thing about blogging is getting feedback - even if I just make my daughter laugh.

  1. So nice to meet you, visiting from the party! I love the pics of all your plants!

  2. Hi,
Stopping by from Amanda's party. Thanks for sharing, it's nice "meeting" you!

  3. Well, hello there! Thanks for linking up. Congratulations on a month of blogging. I'll encourage you to stick with it. The easiest way to find more Followers is to visit other blogs and leave thoughtful comments. :) Good luck, and have fun at the "party." ;)

  4. Hello! I love the premise of your blog. My family had a vegetable and fruit farms growing up. I have quite a few amusing stories - like jumping in the pond with the cows after picking tomatoes on a HOT Arkansas afternoon. We were relaxing and a fish bit a bump on my back - OUCH! Very funny and vivid memory! Thanks for bringing it back. Have a blessed week!

  5. I'm visiting from Amanda's party. I grew up on a farm and am a farm girl at heart. The only farming I do now is to have a vegetable garden each year and a yard full of flower beds. Good luck with your farm!

  6. Hi I'm visiting from Amanda's blog. My husband grew up on a farm & I know he'd loved to own one someday, I may be calling on you in a few years for advise :-) Take care!

  7. My dh watched "Food Inc." last night, so I am sending him a link to your blog as well, because he is all fired up now about supporting small farmers! Glad to "meet" ya! :)

  8. nice to meet you on dishing it! Thanks for stopping by! I have a brown thumb so i'm sure I can learn a few things here!

  9. My fellow bloggers - thank you all so much for stopping by and leaving your comments.

    I love it!

Warm weather has just arrived here today, so I will have more growing things to share very soon. Please stop by again!

  10. CONGRATULATIONS!!! I too joined a month ago... It's soo much fun :)

  11. Glad you are liking the blogging world! Hopped over from the party! Great to meet you!

  12. Hi there! It's nice to meet you! We started a square foot garden last year, I am sure it is nothing compared to a real farm though.

  13. Keep it up!!! It'll start to grow before you know it! My advice... leave comments with your blog url on other's sites... it drives great traffic!

  14. My Hubby would totally have me on a farm if he could. He threatened to bring home baby chicks the other day from the Tractor Supply Store, which would be fine if we didn't live in a subdivision.

    I'll be back!

  15. Wow, another bloggy baby! So nice to meet you. I have my 3rd garden this year so I will have to look around your blog. I have four 4X8 raised beds and a lot of pots. Love some fresth off the vine tomatoes!

  16. Welcome to the blogging world!! Hope you enjoy it!

I'd love to hear what you think.
